Capturing the Spirit of Americana in Old Montreal

Somewhere in the blurry corners of my scattered memory are the sun-tinted latent images of faded magazine ads with smiling Rockwell-esque children with beaming faces in brightly lit diners. Freckled youth flanked by comfort food and massive milkshakes, perfect clean collared polo shirts, shadows faded turquoise after years sun-bathing on the walls by the window. It is this nostalgia for americana- the culture of an innocent era that inspired this series of photos.
